Default Problems fueling up...

anyone know why my tank wont take gas? I start to pump, quickly fills up the intake tube, then I have to wait until it drains into the tank. I have checked as best I can with a coat hanger to make sure there is nothing in the hoses going to the tank, found nothing.

anyone have this problem?

mybe take the filler hose off and see if theres anything clogged in there, or even bent. I'm not sure if these trucks have a ball in there so when you flip over, then gas doesnt spill everywhere. it it does have it, then maybe its stuck.

does it make a gurgling sound when you fill it up?

I checked that... used a coat hanger to see if there was anything down there and didnt find anything. Its almost like there is a blockage somewhere... preventing air from escaping. maybe the thing to do would be to stick a rubber hose down there into the tank and see how air is flowing out of the tank.

I'd try the hose, then If you find nothing, take the filler tube off and check it with out the truck in the way.

already checked both hoses, they appear to be clear of any blockage.

well for whatever reason... it was the filler tube. not sure what was wrong with the other one but I had a spare and popped it in and was able to dump $25 bux in w/o it clicking off. previously it would click off about every 1/2 gallon or so...
