saging doors 2000R/t

Default saging doors 2000R/t

I justbought my 2000 dka online got it off the ship tonight (IM IN ALASKA) the guy didnt tell me about the doors saging 1st thing i notest @55 hole!. how do i fix

Yup, My drivers side door too. I was wondering the same thing. Pisses me off.

What do you mean by sagging... when the door is open it drops down a bit? I had an old s-10 that did that. If thats the case you need to replace the hinge.

remove the door and replace the pins and bushings in the door hinges. Common problem on cars with heavy doors.

If it's not sagging reallybad, you can put a floor jack under the door with a block of wood and jack it up. The door should be open just enough to clear the jamb. Watch out for the door to fender clearance at extreme lifts. Works great.

Oh yeah, don't put the block of wood on the outer panel edge. Place it on the flat part near the latch end.
