hey fellas. i got an "04 club cab. im just wondering why there are so many exhaust options for the older dakotas and only the gibson/magnaflow for the "04s? i noticed mine doesnt have a CAT. is this the only difference? if so then i could just get an exhaust for an older model and bolt it in my 04 but maybe have to get an exstension? i think i must have picked the ****tiest year to buy. there isnt crap available for an 04!!!!

 

you should have a cat. unless the guy before you took them out. I think you should have atleast 2. but I would just buy a muffler and take it to a shop and get them to bend up custom pipes.

 

x2 on what jonny said i paid 135 for a hooker aerochamber and two nice stainless tips and got it put on at a local shop that did my jeep for 200 which isn't to bad since they did a really good job so try and find a reliable shop and just take them a muffler and some tips and show them how you want it and they should be able to bend it up for you

 

the cats are in the heads for the 04's all you need to do is get a muffler and custom bent pipes from a local muffler shop. shouldn't cost you more than 300 for the whole set up

 

i got a complete kit off of ebay for my '04.came with flowmaster 40,preformed tail pipes,clamps hangers and chrome tips.paid $198.0 shiooing included and about 2 hrs to install.
