Well, Actually I have talked to a mechanic who talks about them and so on. He said these are the best because they don't over heat. You can also throw in an air coolers. They work great. I don't think you would loose any boost. It would just take a little bit longer for it to "Charge up". Im sure you could just buy something like a tacoma kit or Dodge ram kit that will fit in nicely with a couple of mods. Thats the thing though. It all depends what you want. I would say in the long run a STS would be better. The ones on the engine could cause you some problems pretty fast.

for ever. its a diesel I'm putting head studs in it, so it can handle 70+ psi. and I will still get 25+ mpg.

LOl that is an asston of preasure there JM. If i recall corestly rally cars run in the mid 40's and that is not even close to drivable. Tho the tranny makes a big diff for drivablity too i guess...

My .02 would be to rock a SC. Im not a fan of the lag from a turbo and I just love the sound and the low end power (tho not alot still leaps more that a turbo) from a SC

STS turbos, are ok not better then a SC. The closer the Turbo is to the exhuast manifold the better, the farther away it is the worse it is. Turbos use the Exhuast heat to work. STS is just a cheap way of doing it.. but like somone said if you have NO ROOM at all then its the way to go. But in our dakotas, if you take out our stock airbox, relocate the battery you have enough room to install TT easy. Look at the pics on my engine compartment... i can stand in the bitch no problem. These trucks have alot of room to work with.. go take a look at a damn mustang or srt-4... good luck even finding a spot to put a damn sticker...

Hey Guys, no pics today but got a quik peak at my baby, so far i thought id have a 408, but guess whats in it, a freakin 418 with i kno all you guyz will like, a paxton supercharger, and i brand new tranny, otherwise thats all ive seen, dad cought me looking so he pushed me outta the shop, and so you guy kno im may be 16 and be full of **** and vinegor but i drive really responsibly, only had one wreck and that was with one of the electric scooters in Wal*Mart, otherwise ima great driver, but yes being a teen, " I LOVE SPEED " ill keep you guyz updated, and i found out my dad is taking step by step pics of what hes doing to her, but he hid the camera, pics will be up either after Jan. 1st 2008 or when she is completely done, ill keep you all updated, Oh almost forgot, what things could i do to lighten her up a bit, like interior or exterior stuff or anything for that matter, and what are the best grippy road tires available ? my tires are as 255/75/17's i think, not 100% sure tho, thanks for fighting but please anyother ideas would be great to hop it up or make it the nicest looking ever, also im left with about $8,976.23, so what else could be done or should i save the money ?

Thanks,
Corbin
