Well, the location of the leak under the truck would kind of help. More toward the front like the radiator, or maybe under the crank pulley like water pump/thermostat gasket.....?

my water pump went about a month ago. they are super easy to change. I did mine in about an hour. and I only paid $120 for a brand new water pump, not a recore. and aslong as your belts not cracked, it will be fine.

all you have to do is remove the fan and fan shroud, then take the belt off, and take all the bolts holding the water pump off. and it will just come out. then scrap all the left over gasket off the engine and I put a lil bit of silicone on the new gasket and stick it on the water pump then bolt it back onto the engine and then reasemble everything else. and fill it back up with coolaint.

I think you got ripped on that one. $540 is pretty rough for a water pump and a belt...

Tried telling my dad that and he said. "thats them old cheap brands from advance that you have to change every 6 months"

So yeah they already fixed it so to late now.
