yea im too cheap and none of my friends have any and i dont want the antenna on the roof so im not gonna do it but it would be pretty sweet

 

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the 75 WX ST Compact/Remote Mount CB Radio. It eliminates the space problem and still has a bunch of features. I use this with a hood mounted 48" firestick antenna with 3" spring. They make a special hood mount for dakotas and durangos that doesn't require any drilling.

lol cb's.. i dont have one in my dak anymore but used to have an old uniden 510 w/carrier turned down to half watt and a hush texas star 500 modge box... with a diesel power mic... ahh the good ole days...

Well its a old thread but oh well. Lately ive have been seeing more and more CB's. Ive got a cobra 29 ltd classic in my truck. I use it mostly when out in the woods and where cell service isnt very good. Not to long ago I started the cb thing in my town there was only 1 other guy that had one and I always talked to him he has like a 400.00 cb. Might seem lame to you other guys but to kill time we get a bunch of other people that have cb's in their trucks and cars and play hide and seek. Its really funny to see a bunch of cars and trucks scramble all at once from one place to go hide. We have bounderies and hide in allies and what not its actully quite fun. Ive had other people tell me how lame that is but at least were not out doing drugs and other crap like that

Here is where I have my whip att at I wanted a longer one but then I would have to take it off when I put it in the garage.
