My brake light bulb is shot. I'm curious if anyone has any tips or tricks to reach up in the well and changing the bulb. It's pretty far up there and everything is coverd in mud. I'm not looking forward to doing this.

Theres an easier way than this to change it. Drop the tailgate and you should see (I think 2) screws that I think are a torx head. It's about a 2 min job. Good luck.

 

lower the tailgate,remove the 2 screws inside ,pull the light assembly out to access the bulb.

 

Done and done.
