Default 3" rancho on my 2001 cc

I just got a new (to me) 2001 dakota cc 4x4 4.7 and the 3" rancho suspension lift is in the mail. What size tires can I fit with this lift? Also, should I get the lift professionaly installed or try and do it myself? (I have no experience with lifts)

you can easily fit 33" tires on there as i have 31's on my stock dakota and they do not rub at all....im not sure how hard it is to install the lift someone else will help you with that one. good luck

Lift shouldn't be too bad if you have the right tools, and i think someone to help will be okay. as it is only 3 inches no worries as much.

Find a nice guide before doing it though: http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/techart...kit/index.html

Go to the Rancho website. It tells you how big a tireand you can download the install instructions as well to get an idea of what you are looking at.

Also I think you must have the 16 inch wheel when the lift is installed if you still have the stock wheels.

Thanks for the advice. I saw that statement about wheel size after I ordered the kit. Luckily I have aftermarket 16's.
