Default wow. byebye transfer case

So my truck starts making a horrible noise. sounds like something is slapping around near the transmission. i take a look underneath and my transfer case blew out the bottom. i don't really have an explination at this time. but i'll get some pics posted tomm. it's pretty wild looking.

i'm gonna tear into the tranfer case tomorrow after i get off work. it's looking like its not gonna be to hard to do. but i think it all started when i got water in the transfer case when i got stuck in a mudhole. i'm thinking the chain is gone. it's still drives. the noise it makes, i think its the chain whipping aroung in the case. i'm gonna rig it till i can get a new transfer case. anyone have a transfer case laying around, that they want to sell?

Sorry to hear that man. At least you were still able to drive it, so you weren't totally stuck some place.

I need a 233. but thanks man. I was able to cut the chain and pull it through the bottom of the transfer case. so it's drivable just no 4x4. but i was changing out my front passengers side cv axle. and the new one from advanced outo doesn't slide over the locking washer. totally ****ed me. my cousin had the exact same problem with his neon srt-4. advanced auto and autozone axles are junk! so now my truck is sitting in a do it yourself bay here on post. it's all torn apart, and they start chargin me for bay use at 0900. it's only a couple bucks an hour for the bay use. but i don't have a vehicle. this **** blows ***.

that really sucks. thats why I only use mopar parts. Ebay is a great place to find really cheap, new mopar parts, in case you were wondering.
