Default Twin Turbo questions

I have a couple questions about turboing a dakota. I am currently piecing together a twin system for my 98 R/T. It does not seem like it will be too difficult if I stay with reletively low boost levels, but I am wondering how much HP/TQE the transmission will reliably hold. And my second question is are the exhaust manifolds reversable on a 5.9 like they are on a SBC? I wonder this because it will save loads of money if I can flip a stock set of headers and do a little modifying rather than have a set built.
Thank You

i cant see the tranny holding too much it's a pre-03 so remember it's not near the strength of the one behind the hemi even though it's the same internals.

So what would you suggest for upgrades to the trans? I used to work for a dodge dealer and we did 2 to 3 warranty jobs a week on the trucks so I know they are not the toughest setups. Is it more likely to mod this trans or is there a better trans to put in that would work, like an older one maybe?
Thanks

I wouldnt go over 9psi on a stock motor. and with that, one turbo will be enough.

Look into STS Turbo you can get a system with setup for about 1,500-2,000. Mind you youd probably have to buy like a tacoma kit and mod it but, they work better because they stay cooler. As for the tranny I am assuming you have a the 46re. I think it should be able to handle a bit. I think it will handle that much if your worried get that thing built right up.

727 or 904 torqueflite will bolt to a 360... remember they were behind 440's and 426 hemis.

Ive considered running an older trans, but my worry is that it would effect my computer running the engine, ive been told that the trans and engine are run on the same computer so you would have to go carb if you switched to a non computer controled trans.... is this true?
And as for the boost levels and turbo options, I dont plan on running much boost maybe 8-9lbs, but the reason I want to build a twin system is 1- running 2 smaller turbos rather than one large will allow them to spool quicker so I can reach max boost at lower rpm. This is pretty important when you are dealing with an engine that is all torque and little horsepower. And 2 I just think it would be cool to have a twin turboed V8, ive wanted one for years so nows my chance.
Thanks for the input.

There was a guy on this forum that had a black R/T with a pretty built 360 and he had a 727 behind it i'm pretty sure with all the stock computer and stuff. his s/n was spidermantnmc or something like that, he wrecked his R/T though... it was a sad day. so it can be done. another idea is buy a transmission cooler. the heat is what tears up those transmissions.
