some questions
i went to day to look at wheels and the only ones the guy said they made for my truck was like my stock wheels but only chrome where can i find wheels for my truck at, anyone have any idea i think i am going with mudking tires and i would like to have a solid wheel like an outlaw in chrome15 or maybe even 16,s not for sure yet yellowjacket how hard is it to crank the torsion bars if i have some rubbing and if i go with aftermart wheels will i have any problem rubbing. my light has never worked sense i got the truck anypointers to what itmight be thanks
Well my torsion bars were kinda tough, but that's because I was an idiot and didn't jack the truck up. Just hit the bolts with some wd-40 first, and make sure you have a decent size breaker bar for some torque, and jack the front end up. Aftermarket or factory wheels shouldn't make a difference, it just all depends on the size. If they're wider or abigger diameter than the 31/10.5/15 then you probably will have some rubbing. As far as the dash light, if it doesn't light up when you first start your truck, like when it does a quick test and turns them all on, then I would say it's the bulb. Otherwise it's probably some electrical connector or sensor that isn't relaying the message to turn that light on.
Before you rip out your dash to replace the bulbs, check all your lights by turning the key to the run position with the engine off and watch while all the lights go through their test cycle.
31's will fit no problem. and aftermarket rims are hard to fin d in our bolt pattern.
and about the 4x4 indicator light. it is the selector switch in the transfer case. its right by the shift levers. the switch is like $30.
