my summers plans have one goal in mind:
a full custom air suspension on the truck, built by yours truly
i'm gonna be running a triangulated 4 link in the rear, tubular control arms in the front,
twin viair 480 compressors filling two 5 gal tanks that feed 1/2" valves that fill slam specialties HE7 bags in the front and HE8's in the rear, giving me a solid 8 inches of lift and 400 psi limits
a dakota digital full digital air management system with remote control
when i'm done i'll be able to lay the frame on the ground and clear whatever speed bumps are in the way

I havea buddy whoput an air bag suspension on a 65 Impala. Rides like total crap, but it is cool. The only thing he had problems with is the plastic air lines messing up from the solenoid to the bags, but he went with some type of braided lines, and cured the problem.

i did lose my liscence but i'm waiting for my appeal court date.
i'll use braided line for most of the system, they last much longer
It should ride better than a cadillac due to the size of the bags, the wider they are, the less air is needed to lift, therefore, softer 'bags. impalas have a lot less room than trucks so they need narrower bags
i know a few guys with 'bagged 'kotas and they say they ride real smooth on 7 inch bags
and i have no reason to make my truck faster, thats why she is on lockdown in the first place![Wink](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Lo and slo is the way for me.
