I LL let you know if it works. mopar or on car

It takes quite a bit of energy to get all of that mass up to speed (which you do a lot of in city and back roads) and quite a bit less energy to maintain a constant speed (highway). Highway driving is usually more economical even if you have to go a little further. Don't waste too much money on gas additives to increase fuel economy either, because they won't. You are not adding any real energy content to the gasoline and the injectors are still going to squirt the same amount of fuel per cycle.

Also, because with all of those oils in the gas, I would be concerned about ruining the catalytic converter and/or O2 sensors. Just don't put too much in.

(edited for clarity)

Adam is on the right track. You are going to be replacing that cat soon, not to mention you are going to have to be cleaning your intake manifold soon as well. Stay away from putting the oil in your gas. Bad idea for four stroke applications.

I've got a 98 v6 2wd with 31 x 10.5's, manual trans and get about 11 mpg around town and 14-15 on pure hwy trips. The V6 just sucks gas big time. Lucas gas treatment has helped me in the past +2mpg on trips. Even if I baby the hell out of it in town 12 is the best I can do.

i should have said that iam putting mmo in the gasoilne to get better engine life. a friend of mine is a aircraft mechinic. he talked to a man that put mmo in a twin engine airplane. the faa said the engines had to be overhualed. when the engines were taken apart the mechainic told the owner that the engines did not need overhualed, but the regs required new parts to be put in. so i figured if this dude was willing to risk aircraft engines and it worked, i think it should safe. also i ran mmo in a 318 for 50000 miles and it started just as good at the end as it did when i started, from 50000 on the clock to 115000 miles.
