yea I did that to mine in made a big difference, just put it right behind the grill and removed the matting that was creating a block

i havent redone the exhaust and i doubt i will get 10HP by doing it when i do decide to do it, but dyno tests say that people canget a few more HP if you do it rightand it cant hurt.
i am also not saying i got 10HP from putting in a flex hose out the front rather than having the stock one that goes into the fender, i dont have a dyno machine...im saying i did what chevy did to the corvette in mid model year to increase that car by 10HP and it helped my truck quite a bit. i gained at least 1 MPG and could feel a power difference and especiallymore throttle response. i know i gained 1+ MPG because at the time it was the only thing ihad doneto my truck and my mileage went up between 1 and 1.5 MPG's over several tanks of gas before and after i changed the hose.
