Default 2/3 drop

i have a 04 2wd dakota with a stock suspension and i want to drop it 2/3 but i have 20's so what size tire should i go with? or is what i have fine? thanks

i also got 20"s and i have knoticed that the truck was raised 3" up off the ground vs the stock tires i dont know much about suspension soo im not too much help

how tall are your tires now>
looking at the pic ttou should be able to clear 2/3 on thosae 20s
i know sombody with a 3/5 drop on 22's

Yeah what size tires are you running? I have a 2/4 drop (Actually its a 1/3 from a stock R/T height), but it will be the same height as yours if you drop it. I used to have 245/40/R20's and they would rub in the front. Now I have 255/35's in front and they don't rub at all. And I have 295/40's in the rear. You have a lot more room to work in the rear, especially with the 3" rear drop instead of the 4".

i have 275 45 R20 for a tire and the only thing it rubs on is the mud flap in the front when im backing up i want to do a 2/3 drop also so it will even out and i dont know about you but since i put on the new wheels and tires the ride of my truck has improved greatly

Holy crap! You are definatly gonna rub in the front witht hat tire once it's dropped. I bet it won't even fit under the fenders! You're about 2" too tall! Width wise you'll probably rub too!

I'd highly recommend the Hotchkis suspension for your drop - makes the truck handle MUCH better.

I'm running 295/40-20's out back, 275/35-20's up front - no rubbing at all, gives a great stance. Can see pix in my album.
