I switched from the 5x7s to the 6x9s a few months ago. I think the larger ones are much better.

1) You can see a lot more
2) They are also electric powered (had to buy the switch with them)
3) can put on a blind spot mirror without it taking up the space on the mirror

thats good to know i'm definitaly gonna have to think about it but if i can find a set of 6x9's cheap i think i'll try and swap them out. mine are power down so would i just be able to swap out the mirrors or do the bigger ones have a different switch.

they should all be the same switch...I originally had manual mirrors, so everything was bought off of ebay and there was already a wire harness waiting to be plugged in inside my door panel.

I had the 6x9 mirrors on my R/T and they looked like huge sails, so I purchased the 5x7 fixed. They bolt right in with no problems. I purchased mine off of E-Bay. They are the factory mirrors, but I bought them separately in two different auctions. One I was able to plug right in, but the other I had to hard-wire b/c the connector was different. No idea why there was a different connector, but all works perfectly with the switch. I also had them sprayed to match the truck.
