I have the large ones. i hate em. also have ventshades which create a huge blind spot on the drivers side. aftermarket cool mirrors are too expensive, just for mirrors.

I have the large folding mirrors, and my truck also has had ventshades on it since I got it, and yes, it creates a VERY LARGE blind spot. I am interested to know if the smaller non-folding factory mirrors are powered or not, or if only the large ones are power mirrors. I think I've seen smaller, powered aftermarket ones on ebay. I would like to switch to smaller mirrors, but I want to keep my power option on those, as I don't have power windows or locks.

I have the large ones and like them. I really don't care what they look like, I'd rather be able to see, and they seem to look pretty good to me anyways.

I'd like to fit the larger ones for the simple reason they fold! Over here, a Dakota is a pretty large vehicle and when parked on narrow streets the mirrors are very vunrable. As the smaller ones don't fold, I'm waiting for the day when I come back and findone on thefloor.I'd love be able to fold them in.

Nobody answered theoriginalquestion of whether they're interchangerble!

Regards,
Paul.
