I was more looking for a comparison on my torque compared to everyone else's. Looks like they have more. I think once I fix the TB leak though it will improve a bit or a alot.

varsis have you ever found out what gears you have? you could have 3.21 gears. that would make it seem like you have no low end torque.

Il look into it, i always thought they had the 3.55, Im pretty sure it does I looked once I believe. But I know why I can't spin the tires. I have the 8.25 Limited Slip Diff, no wonder. But Still looking for that low end lol.

I know it's possible but has anyone does it in a v6 with 31's? I can't even get my tires to spin!!! I can hold off the power in with the brakes... not sure whats up with that...

I am just more or less looking for a comparison of torque.. Mine has literally no bottom end. But I think I have a manifold leak.
The only way i can get mine to spin is in the rain or "ice" but i have a manual transmission so i can op the clutch and i can do it on dry pavement. pretty cool. rev up to about two and let her go.

on my truck i have a ticking too and im like 99% sure its coming from the evap solenoid thing. i thought it was a lifter for the longest time but if you put your had on it you can feel it clickin on and off. annoys the hell out of me in the winter but during hte summer i dont really hear it with the windows down all the time and exhaust. not sure if yours has the same thing since mines a 4.7 just wanted to throw it out there.

edit:what the hell i dont think this post is in the right thread but im mad confused as to why its here lol [&:]

i was gonna joke with the get a V8 too but someone beat me to it anyways sometimes in my jeep if i let of the brake a little to where it almost started moving then give it some good gas and if it breaks loose put a little more pressure on the brakes to do a power brake

Mine's also a 2WD with 3.55s (you can see what the gearing is on the decal in your glovebox door). Your original tires were probably 215/75R15, which are about 27.7" tall. Your 31" tires are 11% taller, which makes your effective gear ratio lower (about 3.16:1 or thereabouts). Your tires alone will take some shove out of the engine.

You don't have a K&N filter do you? I'd swap back to stock if you do. Everytime I've tried one of those, it didn't do anything positive for low-end or part-throttle power.

No K & N Everything stock. Only thing not stock on the truck is the tranny with shift kit, and bigger tires. I think I am going to do the 5.9 L Swap, that will wake this truck up nicely!
