well... I've decided I'm gonna sell the 99 and buy a 05-06 ram. I test drove a 05 ram RCSB hemi 4x4 yesterday, and they wanted 18k for it. so I went back today to make a deal and they sold it. so now I'm looking around until I find one I like. and then I'll sell mine. the dealer was gonna give me 5k for mine. so I think I can sell it for 7K private. I just want something newer and more reliable, and it has 222,000kms on it now too. I'm gonna put her up for sale now, and if I dont get anybody to buy it, then I will put her back to stock, sell everything and trade her in.

cummins is uronly option, atleast then its usefull, and fun to tool on, well not so much with the damn emmisions bs butthats what diesel mechanic friends are for!

I've always wanted a cummins, but the price of diesel is getting outta hand. here it's $1.19/litre and gas is $1.03/litre. diesel used to be like half the prive of gas, I just cant see getting a new diesel anytime soon. expecially just for a DD.

 

A reg cab? You'll miss you extra room. For a few more grand you could get a 1500 qaud cab.... People might bring up the gas mileage, but it might be a little better....my bro has a 06 big horn and he get mayber one or 2 miles per gal more then I do.... hes got the 5.7 hemi.

 

ya, I still cant decide if I want a reg cab or quad cab. I found another sweet deal for a 07 reg cab short box hemi 4x4 in blue for $28k with only 50kms! goin to look at it tomorrow. the reg cabs are pretty big inside too. but well see
