Hey i have a 98' v6 dakota and was wondering if anyone has had any success inupping the powershort ofbuying a v8. and if anyone hasinstalled any newexhaust systems that didnt sound like crap, i know you never put an exhaust system on a v6 but you never know, thanks

welcome to DF...

headers, TB, exhaust, cutting your kegger (kegger mod) and a CAI or drop in filter... all are good places to start.

ooh and dont forget the 1.7 roller rockers... they are an awesome mod no matter which motor you have...

The only thing you dont do for exhaust on a V6 is straight pipe it. Flowmaster 40 series sounds good on a V6.

Probably 20-30Hp, but It will really wake the motor up, throttle response will be awesome too

thanks guys i was thinking about a catback and a CAI but thats about it just because i dont know how long i want to leave my truck in front of my house and headers can be a pain in the *** but definatly some food for thought.

I would deffinately do the V8 Throttle body swap. Only takes about 30-45 mins at the most and is fairly cheap.

thanks all hey i was wondering if any one new if shadowed head lights are illegal in colorado or not if they are it wont stop me but i still want to know
