best and cheapest are very different animals.

best: shackles and drop control arms
cheapest: coils and blocks

ya college life is very restricting. will coils and lowering blocks hold up well because i have found a few different kits and was wondering if it drastically changes the ride condition.

I have a 2000 3.9 club cab 2wd, and I did a belltech 2in drop springs and 3in blocks in the rear. I looks good but im sittin on the factory bumpstops in the front so the ride sux, and the bump stops are a pain to remove. the coils do come with a shorter bump stop. so it depends it would probably be easier to do the shackles and A-arms.

Hope this helps you, good luck

www.stylintrucks.com
if you find what you want call them and ask for Joe Wagner,
tell him batman sent you, he should be able to get you a good deal.
