Wouldn't it just be easier to search google for the hood?? I have looked at them too, and I think there are only a few different styles to choose from. I just cant see paying that kinda money for a hood. I can think of other things worth while to drop that kinda cash on. Besides, I believe that a truck should go fast, before it looks like its fast....but that just my opinion.

PS- Pull that throttle body spacer off and use it as a paper weight.

i agree....JCWhitney has a cool one, but it costs almost $800. you can make one yourself from a junkyard hood and cuda style scoops, if you can do some bodywork. or at least take a hood and some scoops to a bodyshop and let them put them in and paint it for you...

they do look really cool and id love to have one, but for me, money is better spent on other things...but thats just me

Man that hemi is going to be very hard to do, unless your using the old hemi, that bolted to a 727, but you will be replacing everything, I actually looked into it once...

Well, you will need engine mounts, harness, but you have to wire everything in by hand, you will loose cruise, but talk to the guy with the yellow dakota, Iv talked to him and it wasn't worth while for my truck, too much work but whatever floats your boat.

But it will be fun, I had fun doing my 5.9 which is almost complete.

great links! they are pretty pricey for what you get i think, but id sure love to have one of those double scoopcuda style hoods! id like it to be functional tho. ill bet the cold air from functional scoops would be quite a power increase too.
