Default Rear Wheel Speed Sensor...

Okay, well I am not getting and speed on the speedo, so I am assuming I am missing the wires for this. Does this connect into the transmission harness part? Or is it separate from everything else?

I am trying to figure this out so I know how fast I am going... Would be nice you know.

Any help is appreciated. Another thing, but isn't a problem, the OD OFF light is always on, but the od button works.

Chris

I believe the rear wheel speed sensor is used only for the ABS. There should be a sensor on either the transmission or transfer case.

I had a problem with the speedo on my 04 and it turns out that the sensor on the top of the rear diff had been broken off. I replaced this sensor, it wasn't much bout 40 bucks and the speedo worked fine after that.

My experience with a bad rear wheel speed sensor, is that your ABS light, brake light, and speedo won't work till you get up to a certain speed. I don't have ABS either. So do you have these symptoms, or just that the speedo doesn't work, and does it work at all? Mine wouldn't register anything till around 25 mph.
