Custom Air Intake Idea?
Hey guys. Had an idea of making a custom air intake and seeing if it would work. On the fender near the hood, I was thinking of cutting holes in on each side of the truck. Using angled air vents to direct air into the engine bay with small K&N rectangular or circular filters depending on the hole into the truck. Having two air pipes going into one central connector and going into the intake. Providing I'm not sucking water, make it look nice and it flows well, the truck should get extra air to the intake if I'm thinking correctly. Hopefully my post was coherent enough to describe my idea. If it needs more description, I can throw something together in Photoshop real quick. Thanks in advance and hoping to hear what you think.

PVC will eventually damage your engine.
as it gets hot, it releases chlorine, which is not a good chemical in engines

PVC is polyvinylchloride, heat allows the chlorine to separate, it dosnt do much right off but in the long run it will affect intake and exaust sensors, poor fuel burn, engines need oxygen to run well, they are not meant to burn chorine, since it isnt a major element found in the air
