i wanna lift my truck a little and stiffen up the suspension a little, i was wondering if i could just add a leaf spring in the rear to help stiffen up the rear end a little?

I put helper leafs on my dak to raise it abit, and it rode waay to stiff. it was great for towing though. so I just put a 2" block in thereand it was much better

An Add a leaf will stiffin it up. It depends on how much of a lift you want. So if your not after lift and just stiffen try getting Air shocks.
With air shocks you can adjust how stiff or lossen you want the suspetion. They are about $80-90 at checkers or http://www.shockshopusa.com/

moe in wichita ks
there are copanys that can make springs to any spec you need, just take the truck to them. they can make just one or two leefs, or make all new springs, to any stiffness you need. we have a co in wichita does this. i know a guy that had a truck he had just bought a camper for. it sat to low in the back, so he took it to them and said make it level with the load on it. 6 hrs later it sat level.

You can buy a larger leaf set and you can get lift, and some more stiffness out of it..
