i would go for the one with 60k on it and offer what its worth, around 7.5-8.5 its overpriced by 2k, they will give you bull**** about havin to make the money back for ebay/website fees and other ****. Tell him thats part of the business and not your problem, and he probably got it on a trade and only paid 3k the most for it so he is making profit off it. Go for the 01 and leave 98 alone. I have seen a Supercharged 408ci 6.7L sale less then 9k on Delphi. Keep looking, dont jump the gun.

everyone there treats there trucks like its a precoius gem.. if you buy anything go through them.. most of the time you get get a good deal and lots of bolt ons already on it. Saves you alot of money and labor, unless your like me and like doing that kind of stuff.

well i went back to the car lot that has the 98 RT and he said i can have their truck as is and he'll give me 250 buck. i give him my truck with the stock wheels adn tires and i get to keep my audio system.....i told him thats a no.....

i got to bartering with him and we came up with this

he fixes the exhaust leak
replaces the ac blower
findsout the ABS and BRAKE lights/codes
and has a dealer look into replacing the ball joints or what life they have in them...
and replaces all the fluids

and he gets my truck with stock rims
no sub, amp
stock door speakers
and 600 buck

what do u think??? i just dont know what 5.9L's do at that high of millage

oh and the 01 sold like 4 days ago adn he sold it for 12,880 i feel real srry for that dude

my buddy has a 5.9 durango that hit 200,000mi in February and it is fine, the only things we have had to to to it (he has had it since 40,000mi) are: water pump, lifters (lifter tick), and besides that just regular maintence. these motors can stand up to a lot if your not sprayin nitrous in them or something. i honestly dont know, thats just my experience and my .02.

uhh? So he is not going to fix it just write down some codes and give it to you. You can easily figure out the codes, tell his *** to fix the brake system and keep the 600$. I understand this is probably the best plan for you since you probaboly dont want to sell your truck then go buy one, you want it now and i know how you feel.

If you want it, its your choice. Tell him to give you 250 buck BUT FIX THE Brake system... not just check it.

then sale your rims and get a paint job and a tune up.
