Unhappy Hesitation problem

I have a problem with my 2004 Dakota with the V6. It runs fine cold. After it warms up it shutters and hesitates when taking off from a dead stop. I have checked the fuel pressure it's at 55 psi. It idles OK and runs fine at high speed. The truck has 48k miles with a 5 speed trans.

wow. sounds like you bought a turd. did you pull the codes? carfax? I have a '00 and ran a carfax. then pulled all the codes. all clean. I just turned 116K and no issues except the brakes and peeling clearcoat, both known issues.

Wink hesitation fixed

So, got on the expressway and punched it. I finally got a service engine light. Went to autozone they pulled the code. It was a missfire on cyl 3. This truck has bosh platinum plugs with only 18k miles on them. Bought a new set or ngk 11-g original per the sticker under the hood. I replaced the plugs.... plug3 had a hairline crack on the insolator. The business end of the plug was tan in color. Now it runs great. Will the code go away or does it need to be reset?

just pull the battery cable and reset the PCM. Platinum's suck in these trucks never use them again... lol.
