Default spider gear question

Hi

Would any one know what kind of clearance there should be between the end of the axle shaft and the spider gear holder pin within the carrier of the differential? Or a web site that may give me some insight. Also if there is wear on the rotating spiders mounted on the pin could that make a howling sound (betwee 40-60mph). I have .015, .019 thousands clearance and trying to track down this howl. Thought it might be a pinion bearing but they seem ok. There also seems to be slack within the 4 spider gears which have a wear pattern on the outside edges of the 4 spiders.

2002 dakota 9.25 diff, with 3.55's

tks in advance
