Changed Clutch Slave and Master...What a pain!!!
So i changed out my slave and master cylinder which was the whole hydraulic system for the clutch from the pedal to the tranny and let me tell you what...WHAT A PAIN IN THE *** IT WAS!!! Four hours later it was done, but I took it on a 45 minute trip with city driving and it didn't squeak once and is nice and tight and smooth so it fixed my annoying squeaking/bad pedal feel so I'm happy. I know a lot of people don't need this info but ill probably do a diy then in case anyone wants the info because I know I could have used some extra help/guidance when I did mine today. Ill probably do it tom or Thursday when I have the free time.
you can't you gotta do the whole system. you can't release the connector and if you do its broken and you won't be able to get it back on. i got the master and slave for 180 or something off of moparpartsamerican.com
LOL...sweet,so the squeekin is in the hyd. part of the system...I got the same ,incredibly annoying, squeek, especially when is hot out,and wasn't sure what part was makin noise,I tryed lubing the moving parts of the pedal/mechanism and had no luck, looks like I'll be doin mine soon too,I gotta do my evap. coil too...

Playmaker....did you ever do the DIY for the master/slave remove replace? I'm gonna have to do mine and what you have said above has been a big help, but I would like to know some specifics if you have time.....like did you have to remove the brake master etc...? Or were you able to disconnect remove from underneath. Your help would be appreciated....btw I'm from Lancaster too.
Have you bought the part yet? It is a sealed system once the line from the clutch master is plugged into the slave. I removed it off the pedal under the dash and then shimmied it out through the engine bay with the slave. You have to replace them both and it comes with both when you order it. Where in Lancaster are you?
