probabally best bet would be to look into a ram drivetrain. reason mine was so built up, overdrive failed. loss of lubrication because of that check valve. the torque converter too took a bad hit wiping out the trust washer dumping all the particulate into the valvebody, cutting down fluid flow. the filter was torn up from debris, in turn wiping out all the internals in the transmission. he still wonders to this day how i still had 1st to 3rd and overdrive until she got hot. im just happy it didnt leave me stranded like the 41te in my cirrus would of had. that limp mode home is useless. that was a fun way to end my high school career. new transmission was a nice graduation present from the parents, thats for sure. acted like i was paying for it so i got it pretty cheap.

Yea thats sucks. I don't have that dumb check valve was removed when installing my bypass cooler. Any good mechanic will know this on the dodges.

that check valave is another engineering marvel by dodge... probably put in there to get business in rebuilding transmissions. mine failed at 62,000 miles... go figure, now i got an aux cooler tied in with the factory cooler, gonna look at adding another cooler to the trans, keep that puppy nice and cool. also getting the transmission flushed with a fluid and filter change. $100 for the entire work, cant complain.

Good price considering the price of the fluid.

Probably by the beginningish of november. The parts are starting to come in, money is starting to come by. Once Leafs are here, I can pull the front crap off and put the new front under, which will be day one. Rear will be done the next day by the looks of it. I still need to buy some 3" wide shackles and brackets. This for the front. Stick with stock steering. Tires and rims would probably be one day, but I can't do anything until I get paid. But gearing should be done shortly.
