I have been thinking of adding fog lights to the bumper of my '01 SLT. Just wondering what the best lights to get are? I looked around on Flea bay but thought I'd ask.

i got some nice ones on ebay, but they don't have the standard bracket. They are REALLY bright though. 80 bucks shipped or something... still haven't installed them though but tested them out.

Fogs
I had the Cyberwhite NAvigators by Pilot for about 2 yrs. Bright as heck but not a very sharp cutoff and one finally burned out. I now have 89 dollar Pilots, the kit that's advertised as being built specifically for the Dakota bumper. Sorry, don't have model nubmers in front of me. These seem to give a fuller light pattern and a sharper cutoff. No need to spend more than 60-80 bucks on a set no matter where you get them. If you want to spend real money spend it on driving lights.

anything between 3.5 and 4 inches should fit OK, the closer you can find to 4 inch diameter the better. The stockers are 3.5 but the adjustment screw mechanism takes up that extra .5 inch in the hole so there is no gap. If you get 3.5 inch aftermarket ones that usually have the adjustment screw hidden in the back you will have a gap and it won't look that great.
