clean your IAC valve, its on your throttle body, and get us your fault code, and we'll determine what you need to do. and IMO, dont beat around the bush with the o2 sensors, just replace them, with worn out o2's, you're gonna have crappy fuel mileage. do a full tune up - plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, but before you do that, run seafoam through the engine, you will pour it through the vacuum hose connected to the brake booster, jsut disconnect it there, and pour it very slowly into the tube, use approx. 1/3 the can. you should have a smoke show. when my buddy had his dakota he put some in his gas tank and said that cleaned his injectors and noticed and improvement in power.

bosch platinum plugs are bad plugs for these trucks... there's your problem... in my opinion, they are garbage to begin with.. get regular copper core plugs, NGK v power or Autolites will be fine.. the guys who have the autolites run one heat range colder i beleive, i forgot the part number, just look around

Yep. Autollite 3923s or NGK 4291s.

I've read of Seafoam messing up plugs, but I've run it through my vehicles with new plugs (knock on wood) no issues have happened.
