I just traded a bunch of stuff and picked up a older paxton supercharger (sn93) for a 93-96 dakota. I was wonder what it would take to put it on a 2000 4.7l. It has a older model paxta-map curve generator that controls two additional injectors under the throttle body.

Does the 4.7l have same mounting brackets as the older 318 and 360?
How do newer kits for the 4.7l add additional fuel?

 

I know that the brackets are different.

 

I figured new brackets would be needed. I wonder if the bolt pattern in lower pulley is the same?

 

i doubt it, they're two completely different blocks, different heads, different induction system. i really dont see how it would ever work.

 

time for some custom brackets?

 

the blower pulley is going to need to line up near perfectly with the serpentine belt

 

I figured custom brackets. Might just be easier to sell this for the right application and just go with nitrous. I will be getting the 318 that the supercharger was on. The whole combination was pulled out and a crate engine dropped in.
What are the new supercharger kits for the 4.7l using for fuel management?
