I replaced my original stock plugs with platinum several thousand miles ago. Well It is time to do it again. What are the best plugs to use, any recomendations?

Honestly...stock CHAMPION plugs. That is what the engine was designed with. Later...

 

Actually, I have to agree with 02 dakota. Stock is the way to go.

 

I have heard some people say that the Iridium plugs are good, but they are also $8.00 to $10.00 each. I have been using Champion Truck plugs

 

I disagree.. some work better than others for some reason... I had autolite 3923's in my truck and they lasted about 1000 miles before it developed a miss. It was recommended that I try these NGK ZR5F-11 plugs and it should cure the miss... well it's been over a 1000 miles already and its still runing awesome...

I recommend them.

 

If you must go with aftermarket plugs, follow steve00ram360's advice and buy NGK's. They are the only a/m plug I would recommend. Still, the truck was designed with Champion's, the computer knows exactly how "they" work. Install autolite's ONLY if you want your truck to misfire. They suck...

 

I think I just learned this the hard way myself, thought I would try something new for once and got burned!
I put Autolite platinum 3924's in my Ram, now misfires after 1500 miles, I guess I'll go back to Champions
