Default New truck finally!!

Some of you may know I'v been looking for a new dak and I finally got one. Its a 02 ex. cab 4x4 4.7 5 speed! I was really happy to find a manual 4.7. Its a charcoal grey which I also love. Im going to pick it up tomorrow so you'll have to wait for pics. Its in awesome condition and I'm really excited to go get her. Just wonder what you guys are getting for gas milage on a 5spd 4.7? Im pretty sure Playmaker has one?

I will get pics asap

Hey congrats on the find sounds like a really nice truck and yes i do have a 4.7 5 speed. My mileage is usually very good I average about 19-21 on the HW and anywhere from 16-18.5 in the city. My last tank was nothing but two mile short trips ripping on it and i got 16ish so it is definitaly gets pretty decent mileage. I'm hoping with my superchips tuner on performance now to get 21-23 next time I go home which who knows when since I've just been taking my gf's 40 mpg corolla every weekend I go home. How many miles on the truck?

Its got 97k which at first I thought was too many but when I looked at it, I soon realized it was in better condition than the 2 previous trucks I looked at with 60k and 87k. The truck has not a spot of rust and is in awesome condition. Im dying to go get her tomorrow. Might even get to use the 4wd seeing as we are suppose to get 4-5 inches of snow

thats awesome...mine had 90k on it it now has 108k a year and a half later and still runs great the 4.7 is a good little engine you'll enjoy it...expect getting used to the shifter though at least on mine the 01's and newer may be different but hey its a truck so i guess i shouldn't have expected butter like shifts. check out the hurst thread we had up on here if your looking for a much improved shift it helps a ton. you have to make a spacer on yours though check out the thread and if you want ill send you think to how to make it

Aw Im in love with this truck. I brought her home today and I'm so happy to be driving a standard V8. You guys are going to have to wait till friday for pics tho. I had to drive it home in the snow and sandy roads. Friday it is suppose to be 52 degrees and sunny so Im going to wash her up good and take some pictures. Its got awesome power and its just a blast to drive.
