Default Clutch Question.

how many miles can you get out of a clutch from the 5 speed 4.7? i didn't buy it new and was just wondering what the odds of it still being my stock clutch since it is starting to lose feeling and such...

originals can last for over 100k, my buddys dad had almost 142k on an f-150 clutch but i'm in the same boat as you don't know if mine was ever changed or not. mine was pretty bad before the superchips and then when i got the superchips on and tuned it the extra power made the clutch feel a lot better. i know it didn't do anything to the clutch but the extra power really helped out down low and gave me some feeling back in my clutch. its a good excuse to get a superchips and cheaper then getting a new clutch

The superchips is working out real nice I can really feel the extra power its just so much more lively. I don't take it home much during the school year since my gf's car gets 40 mpg so I haven't gotta a highway like MPG rating lately and I'm still on the first tank of 93 because it was pinging before so I was just running it on the 87 mode. Definitely worth the $200 bucks though.
