I use Gumout Regane every 5000 miles. It and the Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner concentrate (not the Chevron FI cleaner) are 2 of the very best fuel system cleaners you can buy. Regane (in the clear bottle) has the highest concentration of PEA which is some kind of chemical and I don't know what it does but Regane works very well for me. STP and most of the others are mostly just kerosene. A lot of people have used Sea Foam and had good results. It didn't do near as good a job for me as Regane has, but that's just my experience. No matter which one you use, it is better to have a forced induction service done first like the BG or EverWear fuel system cleaning then follow up at whatever interval you choose with the cleaner you like. It also helps to buy only good quality top tier fuel. Cheap gas may have none or may be full of the wrong types of additives and chemicals. Quality gas has quality additives in it.

Just my 2 cents

I had the Ever Wear one done at a Tires Plus tire store for $70. I had a coupon. The BG service adds an extra cleaner down the TB and in the tank and it costs more. It also takes longer. It is about $120 here in Florida. You can visit www.bgfindashop.com for a lot of info on BG services.

You'll know it helped when you get it done because it will blow a big cloud of white smoke out the tail pipe for half a mile.

put me on that list for five.
i used seafoam on my audi before with no problem, i put half a can in my oil and the other half in a vacuum line. allot of smoke and i let the car idle for ten minutes and change the oil. i didn't use it in the truck yet because i only have 32k miles on her.
