Default Headlight Testing

Alright so idk if its a Dakota thing or just my truck but my stock headlights blew *** i couldn't see anything and they were pointed down horribly. Had the alignment problem fixed and they still sucked so about a year ago I switch them out too Silverstar Cool Blues. These were better than stock halogen's but still were pretty crappy but I've had them in for about 8 months now because i didn't feel like changing them out. About 2 weeks ago I bought some 80w/100w hyper white bulbs off of ebay for 10 bucks just to try and get something better. These put out more light then the cool blues and the stockers but at the higher than stock wattage i didn't really like the chance of burning up my wiring or housings. They are still in there right now but I was gonna put the cool blues back sometime this week. Lookin on ebay last night I found a set of Silverstar Ultra's for $24 so I threw down a bid on it with 2 hours left. I won it and got them for $21.60 with a 10% coupon I had so i got them for over half off what they are in stores. Anyways I'll let you guys know how they turn out. Just wanted to do this for anyone that wants to upgrade their ****ty stock lighting.

I use Silverstar Ultra's too. Bought mine at Advance Auto Parts though. They work pretty good and a lot better than OE bulbs. Brighter light that is not so yellow-looking.

haha so tonight i should have the silverstar ultra's in and might try and take a few pics if i can but i'll be in the mountains still sunday so i wont be on here at all. i also got a set of yellow fog lights off of ebay for $10 i'm gonna see how those work i heard yellow lights are really nice in crappy weather and i usually like the all bright white look but decided that yellow looks cool too on the fogs. i've now got a crap load of extra bulbs laying around if anyone wants to pic any of them up really cheap. i have 2 9007 sylvania cool blues, 2 9007 80w/100w hyperwhite bulbs and 1 899 or 893 sylvania silverstar fog light bulb they were $20 a piece and the other one burnt out when my fog light cracked i forget which number i got though they are both the stock wattage one is just 6mm longer i read
