so you are sayting a 5.9 would be best with turbos??

Well turbos provide all high rpm power and makes all horse power, 5.9's have a lot of torque so it doesnt need the torque as much as it needs higher power.

Well if your planning a TURBO we have the intake manifold for you! We have everything needed to bolt a SULIIVAN ALUMINUM SINGLE PLANE INTAKE MANIFOLD to your 4.7L... Add the Edelbrock Throttle body Elbow and our adapter plate to allow for the 4.7L throttle body bolt pattern to be bolted to the LS1 pattern and your set up for a PLUG & PLAY intake...

With our AIR RAM ADAPTER PLATES we are able to bring the 4.7L to a whole new level.

Just some teaser pics...

To gain another 3" of clearance we are going to test fit this lower profile elbow...

This should help out quite a bit in gaining additional hood clearance... I'm not worried about the RAM... its the Dakota boyz that would be the ones to benefit from them.

Also we are going to buy the SULLIVAN INTAKEs with about 1/2" shaved off the top of the intake... this will bring things down even lower... All in All its looking really good.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

thats ok, chances are no one on this forum will supercharge or turbo anyway... except for maybe user. alot of people talk about it, but never do it, i wanna see someone actually go through with it. Then again ive been wrong before, I never thought varsis would do his 5.9 swap because he talked about it for so long....but he did.

I know I'm running a Ram but I just dropped a Kenne Bell into my truck last week. Trucks in the body shop now so I haven't ironed out all the tuning kinks but its impressed me so far.

Myself It would depend on what I want to do with it. I have a supercharged car, and it's a bi*** to drive every day. It's fun as all hell; don't get me wrong.

With as low of boost you're going to run I would use a Twin Turbo setup. For a daily driver it's great too! You can get some gas mileage out of it too. Just keep the rpm's lower and you can drive it like a regular-ish truck, but get your foot into it and you're gone!! VVrrrroooommmm...

I am disturbed by how many people don't like turbo's. Not that I think you all are wrong. Everyone has their own opinions, and I was the same way.

My dream car has a Twin-Turbo setup, but they are backordered over 2 years to get one...
