Default i need help from a 2002-2003 dakota durango owner

im sure everyone has noticed that i bought new headlights for my truck.......but i had soem problems installing them because the low beam headlight housing on th rear of the headlight assembly sticks out too far adn prevents the mounts from reaching the core support to be bilted up....

the guy i bought them from had an 02 or an o3(cant remember) dakota adn i was wanting help from a guy that owns on to take a picture of the core support form the inside of the engine bay......

take it of the hole where you headligh wires go

whats circled in red is whats not touching the ore support because the lowbeam housing(the round object int he center of the whole assemble) sticks out to far

you may have too. there could be a year to year change with the headlight mounts, ex. the access hole. dont take my word for it until you see for yourself

easy skippy, no need to get excited. i even looked up the part numbers for ya.

2000 fenders Left: 55255031AC Right: 55255030AC
2001 fenders Left: 55256051AB Right: 55256050AB
2002 fenders Left: 55255031AD Right: 55255030AD
2003 fenders Left: 55255031AD Right: 55255030AD

2000 is different, 2001 is different, 2002-2003 are the same.

dremel the hole to where it fits fine, spray paint the bare metal and let it dry. pop them lights in, job done. its never custom unless you put in your own personal touch.
