I have a 2003 Dak w/the Infinity sound system and all four of the door speakers are blown. I went to Best Buy and they can match up a set of speakers to your truck for a descent price. Mine have that ring around them that mounts them to the truck and they sell those too. Hope this helps...

just get aftermarket speakers. sound a lot better then those factory paper weights. i got these in my truck, love em. sounds crisp and they offer a decent amount of bass, but i have the subwoofer for that.. cant wait until i get a amp hooked up to them, gonna be ridiculous.

I bought pioneer 6.5'', i had to break the original infinity speakers out of the blastic mount, its only glue holding them in, and drill the new ones into the little groove that goes around. funny thing is i had the same problem, when i bought my 01 dak all four speakers were blown.

A good set of Kenwood 6.75" speakers on ebay will solve the problem, they sound great! Just don't buy used...

Crutchfield has a lot of stuff and if you put in year/make/model they will show you what fits your truck. Even if you don't buy it there it makes it easy to see what will fit. I'm running Polk db650 coaxials in my 3rd gen and they sound pretty good, crisp and clear I'd buy them again. I wish they had more bass but I really need a sub to be satisfied anyway.

Chances are it's the speaker that is blown and the amp is probably OK. The easiest way to test is to remove the blown speaker and connect a known working speaker to the speaker wires. If the test speaker works OK, the amp is OK. There are many good choices for replacement speakers. Any good car audio shop can help you find the best ones for your budget.
