Default dakota common issues

So I was just wondering what type of repairs everybody else has had to do to their trucks as they have gotten a little older.

In the last two years I've had the following:

lower and upper ball joints
tie rods
front shocks (needs new back ones)
drive shaft u-joints
rear end wheel bearings
rear end rebuild
transmission rebuild

btw: I have a 99 4x4 5.2L w/Auto with 85K miles

My '03 stampede hasn't given me any trouble, until now. Ball joints started making noise not too long ago, and apparently now I am having transmission problems. Haven't had time to look at it yet, but I suspect the clutch is going to need to be replaced real soon.

Ball joints and tie rods are all I've had to replace as of 135k miles. But I need to do a complete tune up and replace the shocks soon.

I'm in the same boat as JakeBank...BCM...Pissed me off so bad, ended up getting a replacement from some 3rd party rebuilder in Florida. Dealer here in BC, Canada wanted something like $1100. I paid $350 shipping and tax in and got a refurb. Bought a second one from them for a buddies dak as well but he got one out of a wrecker so im stuck with this one. Anyone needs one, let me know.

tranny but that was my fault sorta... Other than that a wheel bearing and that is it believe.

But I have a newer motor, but my rear ends and front has held up fine.
