Default Wiper Cowl Installed (for fitment)

I installed it today to see how it would look and fit over the stock one, and just as i thought it was not a direct replacement as it says in the instructions LOL

I had to sawza some screws off that clips went on for the old one, had to drill 2 holes on the side for screws to hold it in place and fit correct.

after i got it on it looks good imo, after i get it painted the wiper blades will also be white, but now all i have to do it take it off and get it painted.

and reinstall which this time "should" be a snap.

here are the pics of it not painted, but primerd in white from SS.

That's going to look sick when it's all done.

On a side note they let you get away with putting the license plate in the windshield? I'd get pulled over so fast if I tried that in NY...

yeah, Texas law has many loopholes. The law states we have to have a front LP, but doesn't state where... so it being in the windshield is fine, i just tell the cops im not drilling into my bumber for a LP and they understand most of the time, after looking at he truck.

If they don't understand i pull out my copy of the Law in my glovebox and show them, then i ask them if they pull over all the other cars that come factory with no area on the front end for a LP...

If i dont have that in my windshield i get pulled over ALL THE TIME!

In Illinois, your supposed to have a front license plate too. Although I've driven my truck all over the place without one. After the accident 2 years ago when my plate got busted off, I was too lazy to put a new one on my new bumper.

And in Arkansas, they've only given me 1 plate on both vehicles I've registered here.
