Default new to the forum thanks for help

i am new to the forum and just wanted to thank those who have helped me. i have a 2000 dakota 2wd 3.9 5 speed slt reg cab. with 130,000 the truck is loaded tow pak and all that. i have owned the truck since it was new its been great with hardly any problem. just paid it off and am in the process of upgrading somethings so far i have done cap,plugs,muffler,180 thermostat, cai and plug wires.

i also own a 17 ft bass boat that i tow with the truck and last year on a long trip i noticed some power issues going up hill on the interstates and it was a rough ride at those high speed the roads are through the hills of KY and the drive was kinda rough. i plan on going on another trip this year and with the power issue i think partly dealt with i want to get some opinions in what way i should go with the truck. the clutch and ball joints seem fine still. would adjustable shocks be a benifit? i am open to suggestionesthanks

handheld tuners can help a ton with towing. I would look into them. Some other guys on here have them and maybe they can chime in here...

No,.. The clutch is not slipping, don't worry about it.
If you don't know how to check your ball-joints out to
see if they are in need of replacement, take it to a mechanic
to have the entire front-end gone over. Free up the exhaust,..
Free-up the intake of air,.. Get a chip for the truck also.
You'll be fine on your road-trip.
