Default Clutch Adjustment?

Is there a way to adjust the clutch to grad earlier or later as you let the pedal out on a 97 dak?

its not possible to adjust the clutch, just replace it when you're almost out of friction material, but before it starts making that godawful grinding noise as you engage it

i assume that noise like that will cause flywheel issues? (breakage resulting in replacement...)
