Default finally gotta get it done.....

well im back to that spedo problem i had a while back , never fixed it cause i havent really drove the truck all winter, its get no grip in the snow.

now apparently iv got 3 speed sensors, one on the diff and one at each front wheel. is there anyway to test these? they are like $50 a pop, so id rather not change something that isnt broken. everything else works on my cluster but the spedo and km. also my cruise doesnt set, i set it and it slows to 0km.

my haynes manual doesnt go into detal on the sensors so im at a loss.

If they are the same sensor you can replace one and if it doesnt fix it swap it to a different spot. Just a thought

Do the rear/end speed-sensor 1st. It's about 23 bucks at Auto-Zone.
It's on the top of the rear/end.
Then, try the one on the pass-side of the trans,.. It's the same price,..
23 bucks. No idea about the third one but, It could be the plug on the
back of the gauge cluster. It's a real cruddy design the way it mounts
to the dash-frame. It becomes loose over time.
