Unhappy truck just hit 201,000 can it live

hey there my truck just turned 201,000 and it runs alright for the most part. It makes some weird noises and knocks below 2000 rpm.... I put some oil treatment in it and fresh plugs. What else can i do to make it live longer. I love my truck but i dont want it to die or blow up or sumthing please help. Thanx

just do the required maintenance dude, its blows up, it blows up. 201,000 are a lot for a gas engine. take care of it, dont beat it, it will last awhile longer.

lucas + zmax = new lease on life.

Also, our dually has 350,000 on the 454. trick: If you think it has piston slap or anything, start going to a heavier oil. It'll sap a little power, but it won't slide past the piston rings and burg like synthetic. The dually motor's been rebuilt once, we dont even have either additive in it..just Penz 10w-50.

mines got well over 200k comin up on 300k and its just fine. as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you. you should run a lil heavyer oil in it. or use oil treatment everytime you change the oil. that will help some.

We've been using Lucas. We're on an account at the oil depot at home on first name basis (cuz my dad's job, the hemi gets a new internal bath every 3 weeks or so) so they add the lucas for us no charge to fuel and oil systems. I myself would almost consider Zmax after some point.

idk, if that thing has never seen seafoam in that many miles, i don't know if seafoam would be good or bad for it. not to mention it would smoke for probably an hour. haha
