any other ideas? I got a remote start. How can I take it out so I have one less possible cause of whats happening

I figured out when the truck stalls its due to loss of injector pulse

I dont think that would be a problem. Its usually just a wire spiced into one of your fuel injectors, or at least thats what mine is. Are you using the flexplate from the 360? If not thats most def your problem.

flexplate is from a 5.9 ram. But the remote start might be the problem because there is a way the remote start can kill your truck. I know if I press the brakes I think the truck will kill itself when the key is not in the ignition.

I think tonight after work i'm going to try starting my truck with the 3.9 PCM plugged in. I know I will get a CEL for cylinder 7 and 8 but I just want to isolate the PCM problem.

Allright a little update here. I used the PCM from the 1996 ram and the truck stayed running :S However none of the gauges were working :S When I use the other ECU's I have the gauges work but the truck dies. Very confused now

something must be wired differently from the pcms.

nope I havent got this figured out yet... Is there somewhere I can send my v6 PCM to get flashed to a 5.9?

I dont think so.. I think you just need to find one that works. I could be wrong though.
