Well aside from the obvious motor mount difference, these trucks were designed to fit the 360 block - albeit barely. And the hemi is a monster motor, physically.

I don't think clearing the oil pan a little bit really hurts anything, as long as the bottom end clears it. But i would like to think somebody would make a high clearance pan for the racing version of the OEM block or something. I don't think a dry sump would work too well in a street application?

I think it's a safe bet you'll have to ditch the clutch fan and run 1 or 2 electrics, possibly as pushers. From what I've seen in my dad's truck the few times we've had to open the hood ourselves, it basically goes all the way from the radio to the radiator.

part of the firewall might have to be clearanced, but im not sure,
the 5.7 is physically smaller than the 5.9, period, so generally it should fit,

you might be able to mount it a little higher than stock to clear the ground so you dont have to cut the crap out of the oil pan,

i know when i do my swap the radiator will have to get moved forward a couple inches,
i do belive i've seen the hemi swap done in a dak somewhere..imma try to dig it up for you

5.7 Hemi, depending on if it was a car/truck motor and what year, was in the 375 HP bracket I THINK
