It has been done before also a viper, and a 440 swap. The hemi was done in a 01. Ur gonna have fun with the wiring its differnt from 00 to 01. The 01 is closer to the 04 hemi. What engine u have now? The tranny with the 4.7 is the only one that will bolt up to the hemi since its a smaller version of the one in the ram. The tranny with the 5.2 and so on have different mounts.

yea they look huge but when you strip down the engine bay the blocks thenselves are not that huge,
its probably out off a magnum those seem to be the more popular, he also might have the trans with it,

IMO I woulod take the 545 with the Hemi....

and I think the PCM is all but proprietary for the hemi + 545 isn't it? Because the 545 is technically a 6 speed and uses engine and torque manangement to make decisions?

i know of another guy on another forum that did the swap, i will try to find some sort of link but it is possible, although not the most popular, which is cool since you will be unique

hemi will fit. most of the work is wiring and making new engine mounts. The oil pan I think had to be redone for 4x4. but with 2wd i bet you will have more room. When you get closer you can do a test fit.
